Join Max Rosenberg, Ordway’s VP of Client Services, and the Ordway product team for a working session on dunning. We will cover who should receive past due notices, when each sequence should fire, when to stay quiet, and how to set every one of those rules up in Ordway.

Dunning is one of the highest leverage parts of accounts receivable and usually the least attended to. Most teams switch on the default templates, set reminders at 7, 14, and 30 days, and then live with the side effects: notices going to a hundred contacts who never asked for an invoice, reminders landing on accounts that already sent a wire, and a suspension warning hitting a customer in the middle of a renewal conversation.

Max Rosenberg has spent years inside the AR processes of hundreds of SaaS finance teams, and he recently wrote a three part series on what actually works. This webinar is that material put into practice. Max will walk through the decisions that make dunning effective, and the Ordway product team will show you where each one lives in the product, so you leave with a checklist you can act on the same week.

Automating 80 to 90 percent of dunning emails gives an AR team real time back. The point of this session is to make sure that automation is working for you rather than damaging good accounts.

Topics covered:

1. Who Gets the Email, and When

2. Not Every Account Should Get the Same Treatment

3. Timing: Match the Sequence to the Payment Method

4. When to Stay Quiet: Suppression Rules

5. Emails That Actually Get a Response

6. One Statement, Not Five Reminders

7. Failed Payments and Auto Pay Recovery

8. Closing the Loop: Monitor the Replies
