After having launched several billion-dollar finance applications at some of the world’s leading ERP companies, Sameer founded Ordway in 2018 with the vision of building a more flexible billing and revenue automation platform. He wanted to free customers from the constraints that many of the incumbent, rigid financial systems suffered. Over the past few years, Sameer has led Ordway through a period of rapid growth and outside investment as the company has begun to disrupt the recurring billing and subscription management category.

Sameer brings over 20 years of experience in developing innovative financial products at some of the world’s leading technology companies. Prior to Ordway, Sameer was the Chief Product Officer at Spree Commerce before the acquisition by payments leader, First Data. At Zynga, he led the launch of Frontierville — one of the highest monetizing apps of all time. Earlier in his career Sameer worked at various tech startups, including roles as one of the first product managers during the early days of Zuora, Workday, and Intacct. An entrepreneur at heart, Sameer is also an active venture partner with NextGen Venture Partners and angel investor in startups such as UrbanStems, Social Tables, TrackMaven, and Advantia Health.

Subbu Venkiteswaran

As Senior Vice President of R&D and Operations, Subbu has responsibility for the research and development, product engineering, operations, security, and compliance functions at Ordway. His team manages the product development lifecycle for Ordway’s solutions. His team is responsible for the innovation behind the Ordway billing and rating engine, revenue sub ledger, and dynamic product catalog as well as platform features such as workflow, analytics, and integration.

Subbu has over 30 years of experience developing business applications at some of the world’s most respected software vendors, technology consultancies, and financial institutions. Prior to Ordway, he was the Senior Vice President of Engineering for Applications at Apttus, a leader in the Quote-to-Cash (QTC) market that recently merged with Conga. As the fifth employee at Apttus, he helped the company grow from its initial stages to a $2B market-leader servicing hundreds of the world’s largest organizations. Earlier in his career Subbu worked in various software engineering and technical project management roles at Tata Consulting Services, Bank of America, and Nextance.

Steve Keifer

As Chief Marketing Officer, Steve has responsibility for Ordway’s growth strategy, demand generation, and brand development programs, which are designed to expand the company’s market share in the SaaS, cloud, fintech, AI, and IoT segments. Additionally, he has responsibility for Ordway’s research practice which publishes thought leadership studies on pricing strategies, subscription management, and billing strategies for recurring revenue business models.

Steve brings extensive experience in high tech marketing, having led marketing organizations at four different SaaS and cloud providers over the past 10 years – including several which achieved hyper growth and significant valuation increases. In his roles at LeaseAccelerator, OpenText, and GXS, Steve has developed a broad range of experience with technology solutions to automate financial business processes such as procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, and record-to-report. Over the past 15 years, he has work closely with both corporate finance organizations and financial institutions in areas such as B2B payments, electronic invoicing, cash management, supply chain finance, and financial reporting.
