Billing and Revenue Recognition Customers Can Now Use Adyen for Credit Card, US ACH Debit, and Canadian Pre-Authorized Debit Transactions

WASHINGTON – October 18, 2025 – Ordway, the finance platform for innovative business models, today announced a new connection to Adyen’s payment gateway. SaaS and subscription companies using Ordway’s recurring billing platform can now use Adyen to process end-customer payments via credit cards, US automated clearinghouse (ACH), and Canadian Pre-Authorized Debits (PAD). Collections can be performed via automated payment runs or customer-initiated transactions.

Existing Ordway clients with a Adyen account can configure the connection in just a few clicks through the self-service payment integrations available in the settings menu. In the configuration, customers can choose which payment methods to support, including traditional credit cards from Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Payments can also be accepted via ACH and PAD bank transfer once the end user verifies account ownership through either a micro-deposit process or instant bank login.

Customers using Ordway’s billing and revenue management platform can now take advantage of Adyen’s platform across every customer touchpoint.

  • Hosted Payment Pages – “Pay Now” experiences can be embedded directly into the Ordway billing portal, PDF invoices, customer statements, and collections email communications. These Pay Now options route end users to a secure, hosted payment page where they can submit payment using credit and debit cards, as well as ACH and PAD transactions supported by Adyen’s platform.
  • Self-Service Checkout – For new purchases, Ordway customers can enable self-service online checkout flows that allow end users to purchase subscriptions, software, and other cloud-based services without ever engaging a sales representative. The same experience can be extended to in-app or online upgrades so customers can independently buy additional seats, tokens/credits, or move to higher plans and tiers using Adyen-powered payment methods.
  • Auto-Pay for Recurring Billing – For recurring billing scenarios, Ordway customers can also offer automated payment plans powered by Adyen’s credit card and ACH capabilities. End users can opt into auto-pay at the time of their initial subscription purchase or later in the contract term, helping them avoid missed due dates while reducing the manual effort required for monthly billing.

The Adyen payments integration is a core component of Ordway’s Accounts Receivable Automation module. The AR solution also includes a self-service billing portal where end users can review outstanding balances, retrieve historical invoices, and submit online payments. In addition, Ordway’s Accounts Receivable software provides finance teams with tools to analyze receivables aging and calculate days sales outstanding (DSO). Flexible dunning workflows support a broad range of automated notifications, including alerts for upcoming renewals, newly issued invoices, expiring payment methods, and overdue balances.
