Ordway is seeking a graphic designer to support our fast-growing marketing team. The designer will collaborate with our demand generation, corporate marketing, and product marketing teams to produce high-quality, on-brand visual assets for social media, digital ad campaigns, and blog/website content. This role is ideal for someone creative, detail-oriented, and eager to learn the fundamentals of SaaS marketing design.
The graphic designer will support the Ordway global team, which is based in both India and the US/Canada. Design projects will support the company’s effort to build Ordway’s brand and growth strategies in the subscription billing software and revenue recognition software markets. The role offers flexible work hours. S/he can perform creative work at their own schedule, but must be available for Zoom calls 1-2 days per week in the evening.
Job Responsibilities
- Email Marketing – Manage email templates in HubSpot for customer/partner newsletters, product release announcements, and event/webinar invitations. Create the associated header banner/hero images, product screenshots, illustrations, and CTA button graphics.
- Social Media (Organic and Paid) – Create graphics for LinkedIn single-image and multi-image carousel posts, including infographics, product screenshots/mockups, customer testimonial cards, event/webinar tiles, and award/badge images.
- Google Ad Campaigns – Create static image and animated/interactive HTML5 ads in a variety of formats (skyscraper, leaderboard, half-page, square, medium/large rectangle) to support responsive display, dynamic remarketing, and smart display campaigns on Google Display Network.
- Website Landing Pages – Design graphics and create the layout for landing pages on the corporate website. Conversion rate optimization to support digital advertising campaigns, event/webinar registrations, and sales appointment bookings.
Please note that this role does not have responsibility for the Ordway website or corporate brand identity.
The Ideal Candidate
- Understand the needs/requirements of business sponsors in the marketing organization.
- Maintain consistent brand identity and visual tone.
- Follow platform-specific best practices for sizes, ratios, and design requirements.
- A/B test visuals to identify which designs lead to the highest conversion rates.
- Optimize imagery for web performance, accessibility, and technical SEO.
- Ability to visualize complex topics such as usage-based pricing and annual recurring revenue.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Business English – Work with a global team mainly based in Hyderabad and Delhi, as well as the US and Canada.
- Education – Candidates must have a university degree in graphic design or a related field.
- Experience – 1-2 years of professional design experience at a marketing agency or technology company.
- B2B Audience – Must have experience designing creative assets targeting business buyers (versus consumers or government)
- Technology – Expertise in Figma or the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Marketing – Familiarity with marketing campaigns such as email campaigns, webinars, and social media marketing
